Foori POS vs MezbanPOS
A restaurant system sold as one flat plan, with a 45-day free trial and an offline desktop app.
Checked against their own site on . We have no relationship with them and nothing here is their wording unless it is linked.
Where we stand
The honest version
This is the comparison where our usual argument does not work.
Most of this site is built on the fact that vendors here do not put anything in writing. MezbanPOS does. Their terms page states no setup fee, month-to-month billing with no cancellation fee, and a full refund inside thirty days, no questions asked — three commitments in the same territory as ours, and on price they are simply cheaper. A plan comparable to our Standard tier costs less there and carries no setup fee at all.
Two real differences are left, and one of them is ours to lose.
They run on your own machine, which is why their terms say the website is provided as available and stop short of any uptime commitment — with a local desktop app, their servers are not in the path of a sale. We are the other shape: we run the service, so we carry the risk of it, and if Foori POS is down while you are serving, that month is free. Which of those you want depends on whether you would rather nobody could go down, or someone owes you when they do.
The second is scope. MezbanPOS is one plan for a small to mid-size restaurant. Foori tiers up to a multi-branch console, and sells your own branded ordering channel that we take no commission on. If you have one shop and want the cheapest honest system, buy theirs. If you are opening a second branch or want orders arriving on your own channel instead of a marketplace’s, that is what we built.

Every claim in the MezbanPOS column links to the page we took it from, on their own site, opened in a new tab. We checked on 10 August 2026. "Not published" means we could not find it stated publicly that day — it does not mean the answer is no, and the fastest way to settle one of these rows is to ask them.
Also worth knowing about MezbanPOS
Credit where it is due
Where MezbanPOS is strong
A comparison page that finds nothing good to say about the other vendor is an advert. These are the reasons a restaurant would reasonably buy theirs instead.
The best first look in this set, and it is not close
Forty-five days on the full web dashboard, and no credit card to start. Ours is a demo and a conversation. If what you want is to run your own restaurant on a POS for a month before deciding, they let you and we do not.
They publish terms too — and on three of the four, theirs are as good
No setup fee at all, strictly month-to-month with no cancellation fee, and a full refund inside 30 days with no questions asked. Of the vendors we checked, they are the only one that puts commitments like ours in writing, and we would rather say so here than have you find it yourself.
Nobody's server sits between you and a sale
Their Pro desktop app runs offline on your own machine with local storage, so a bad connection or a vendor outage does not stop billing. That is a stronger answer to the 9pm-on-Saturday question than an uptime clause, and it is one we cannot give yet.
Where we differ
What Foori does differently
The same four on every comparison page, because they are the same four whoever you are weighing us against.
01
You see it running on your phone before you pay anything
A working POS on your own phone in the first meeting. You do not have to buy hardware or book an install visit before you can judge it.
02
Your own ordering channel, at 0% commission
Your own branded ordering channel, built into the POS rather than bolted on. We take no commission on what it sells.
03
Support is the people who write the software
The WhatsApp line goes to the people who build the product, not to a ticket queue. That is a real advantage now and an honest one to lose later, when there are too many restaurants for it to hold.
04
A written uptime commitment
If Foori POS is down while you are serving, that month is free. We could not find a POS vendor in this market publishing any commitment about uptime, and the one that addresses it at all rules it out.
